SKY ISLAND RESORT is one of Mozambique’s premiere paragliding venues.
We are situated on-top the unspoiled coastal dune forest of Ponta Malongane in Southern Mozambique and our views are simply spectacular! Guests can book in advance for tandem flights or lessons.
Other activities include snorkeling, quad bike tours, scuba diving, ocean safaris, dolphin swims and Elephant Reserve day trips.
Meadow Chalets
Our Meadow Chalets are self-catering units, each with its own kitchenette which has all the necessary kitchen equipment you would require – including a stove, fridge and microwave.
Each chalet has an en-suite bathroom and comes fitted with a Queen size bed as well as a sleeper couch that converts into a comfortable single bed.
They are all equipped with a TV, an overhead fan, private patio, outside shower, braai facilities and free Wi-Fi, room service & breakfast.
Our Meadow Chalets are surrounded by unspoiled nature and a view of the vast open grassy fields.
Using only materials from the land, the chalets have been built to breathe during summer and insulate for the winter.
Sky View Tents
Our Luxury Sky View Tents are nestled in amongst an ancient and unspoiled tropical dune forest on the Ponta Malongane Ridge. Positioned on the edge of the mountain, you can enjoy the amazing views of the Ponta Malongane beach and get lost in the glorious vastness of the Indian Ocean!
Our Luxury Sky View Tents come fully equipped with a King size bed (or 2 singles) with luxuriously soft white linen, a tea/coffee station, electricity, power points, braai facilities, ample storage space and includes free Wi-Fi, room service & breakfast. Each campsite has its very own private toilet and shower, an outside hot water wash area and privacy from neighbours.
If you don’t like camping but you love the great outdoors, then our glamping solution will be perfect for you!
Chalets: 3 – 4 sleeper chalets with a sleeper couch, so they can accommodate a family of 4 with small children or 3 adults.
Tents: 2-sleeper and 4-sleeper tents available. A 4-sleeper tent comprises 2 x 2-sleeper tents with a shared bathroom. All beds can be made up as king or 2 singles.
