O Lar Do Ouro Guest Lodge is in Ponta do Ouro, on the southernmost tip of Mozambique. O Lar do Ouro boasts with the most beautiful Tropical garden in Ponta do Ouro. With a licensed bar. Guests can relax in the lounge or cool off in the swimming pool in the tropical garden.
O Lar Do Ouro is accessible with a normal vehicle BUT guests would need a 4×4 or 2×4 etc to go about the town and to go further up as the tar road ends just as you enter the town itself. The Guesthouse is within walking distance to beach, market, restaurants, and local bars.
All the units are air-conditioned and equipped with double or single beds and en-suite bathrooms. All rooms are fitted with mosquito net windows.
There is a communal lounge with books and board games in case the weather gets poorly or if you simply wish to relax and have a nap!
The dining area is where we serve breakfasts and dinners and has a Tea/Coffee/Hot Choc station available 24/7 with a small fridge, where clients can store small snacks.
The bar serves beers, ciders, spirits, soft drinks, and cocktails.
The swimming pool is open to everyone but is used at own risk.
Our luscious gardens have hammocks and comfortable chairs from where to enjoy the relaxing sounds of nature

Please note that our rooms are CATERED and there is no kitchen or braai facilities, with exception of the Self-catering unit.
Clients must please supply their own beach towels and equipment.

Dinners – Dinners are served from 6pm until 8pm and, unless included in the accommodation package, must be booked, by 12pm latest. Board is up every night
No alcohol and beverages allowed within the premises, with exception to the self-catering unit´s grounds. No animals allowed, please don´t feed any animals.
Bathroom towels are provided for exclusive use in the rooms. These are catered rooms, No eating in the rooms please. With exceptions to self-catering unit.
