Surrounded by a forest, Mar E Sol is an upmarket self-catering holiday beachfront accommodation complex.
It is located behind the main beach above the bay and will offer you the best sea view in Ponta do Ouro. A short walk from the complex and you will be in the heart of Ponta do Ouro where you can eat at one of our beautiful restaurants, buy some beautiful hand-crafted goods and RnR which is Mozambique’s most famous drink.
The town has a couple of bottle stores, fish-shop, bakery, market with fresh produce and bottled water and Ice. Cellular phone reception is available on international roaming.
The layout of the house encourages the feeling of being-one-with nature with the bedrooms that have doors that open up to the deck; as well as the shutters, allowing privacy without shutting out the sound of the ocean and ocean breeze.

The complex can only be reached by 4X4 or high clearance vehicle with differential lock.

The house is 10m above ground be aware of heights and the stairs. Elderly people might find it a difficult climb and situated right at the top of the Dune in the Complex.
The parking for House 3 is also at the top of the dune behind the top units. Please note there is also a main walkway that leads down to the Beach gate.
Kitchen:
Fridge with an built in ice-maker fridge & freezer; tumble drier; dishwasher; microwave; stove & oven; water purifier; all the utensils you will need cutlery & crockery for 10 people. There is also a lovely dining room table in the kitchen that seat 10 people.
The Deck.
An awesome view overlooking Ponta do Ouro Bay up to Mamoli. Also a s gas braai. Gas refills are available at reception. There is a table with chairs suitable for 8 people. There are also a few chairs on the deck to sit and relax having a drink while overlooking the bay.
The Deck Downstairs
This Beautiful Ponta Do Ouro Luxury self-catering house has its own spectacular comfortable PRIVATE pool. You will access the pool when walking through the storeroom.
Lounge:
TV and DSTV is available, no card required to use this is included in the daily rate, Large corner set lounge suite suitable for 10 people.

Room 2: Queen Size Bed.
Room 3: 2 sets of bunked beds .

Directions
From the Kosi-Bay border post, take any of the dirt roads to Ponta. Rule of thumb is to keep right. The easiest route however is to drive north until you get to the airfield and then turn right to Ponta.
In town drive straight past the market until you reach the campsite, and pass it on your left. Mar-e-Sol is 500m down the road.

No open fires allowed.
The house is serviced once a day. The complex has private secure access to the beach via a main walkway from house to bottom beach gate, with 24 Hour security. An on-site laundry service is available at an additional cost.
Mar E Sol is equipped with a wash bay and enough space should you wish to bring a boat.
